Thanks to the ongoing research, science continues to evolve offering new options for hair loss particularly when hair loss is caught early on. (We all lose hair daily, but more than 100 hairs lost daily are considered excessive and cause for concern.)

Today there are drugs you can ingest or apply that may help with hair loss or even surgical replacement. While these solutions work for a very small majority, the American Hair Loss Organization warns consumers to first visit your board certified dermatologist to make a diagnosis. They also suggest that you keep in mind that most options are snake oil (there are only a few medicines approved by the FDA) and that there are only a handful of surgeons qualified to perform state of the art surgery.
